Help! I'm happily plodding along on a 60mg doseof citalapram after several years of fluoxetine and a disastrous try of venlafaxine. Last time I went to the doctor I was advised I could no longer take the citalapram as the dosage is not considered safe. (and a lower dose doesn't work for me). I'm seeing the doctor this morning to discuss my options, I want to be vaguely informed before I go in as I've been pushed into trying things I wasn't comfortable with before (and I wasright. Not the doctor, on both occasions..)

What are my alternatives? Anyone? I'm panicking. My panic attacks have been non existent for nearly a year, but right now I'm considering raiding my diazepam.

How did it go? If you have not had an attack for a year, reducing the dose may be fine. Above all, don't panic about the dosage you are taking - just try and see and if it does not work, you can try something else. I speak as a sufferer of terrible anxiety (although currently under control).
