what a horrible way to feel, like death warmed up actually.2
and all hubby can say is"well,a bit of the other'l sort u out"......i think NOT!my bubba only 13weeks.
i know theirs prob.loads of you out there that have felt like this, just feel really isolated and low.weather dosent help.

Hi mandi, Look here for November mums.

I'm 41 weeks with no 3 at the moment but hope this'll bump for you and maybe some one more helpful will come along.

Do you have any support at home, or a friendly gp/hv you could chat to. If it is pnd, the sooner you get some support the better.

mandisweetpea · 23/02/2006 16:33

oh,thanks for answering, was beginning to think i really am a"sad case"!!!
no,not much support, always been the"strong one"!this is my 3rd baby, tho been eight years since last did this, feels like 100 tho!
maybe just a bump,i adore my little one, shes still so tiny, but just feel soooooooo down.thats not v.descriptive,im sorry, its really hard to get out when the weather is like this too.
bit reluctant to go to gp,ive felt rubbish for about 10days now.
u must be itching for labour to begin huh?!

I'm desperate to get this one out now

I agree the weather doesn't help, You can end up spending all day every day in the house on your own talking to a baby! I went stir crazy when my two were very small.

I find bursting into tears helps - really. If your not usually like this, then maybe your H will take you seriously if he sees how bad you feel. Hiding it is not a good long term strategy, unless of course it is just a bad couple of weeks, and you get past it on your own

Hi Mandi, congrats.on your baby!! I've had PND and left it quite late to go to G.P. What you're describing does sound to me like the initial symptoms of PND. Please go to your G.P. and have a chat-sooner rather than later, the quicker you go the quicker you can start to feel more like yourself!

mandisweetpea · 24/02/2006 15:26

yeh,ive got a horrible feeling this is more than pmt, just cant"shake it off".h is a nurse consultant,he's a lovely guy,but im not used to being a "patient"!i think perhaps aq visit to the gp next week would be a good IDEA,but he's the most sarcastic patronising man ive ever met.im dreading going in 2b honest.

i found my health visitor brilliant for off loading,i always felt i had to be strong and appearing to cope in front of the family and she never had any expectations of me other than of being a new mum!... guess that depends on how good your hv is though.
