Hi. Just wanted to post a have literally just moved house and anxiety is going mad! Didn't want to leave other house and can only see the negatives with this I've. My 4 year old son has gone to stay at his dad's overnight and I'm feeling bereft. Plus, I can't find the tea bags and I really want so cuppa! Seriously tho, struggling and need some input from people who understand! Thanks.

Moving house is tough, I do it every 5 years on average, if not more frequently due to dh's job and it always flares up my anxiety and old feelings. It's purely because the upheaval is so massive. It leaves me feel root-less for a while, like I've lost all my crutches.

I understand the not wanting to go out but the more you get to know your new area the sooner the anxiety subsides.

If you don't have ds to worry about get out and find a corner shop or neighbourhood shop still open to get some teabags and a treat.

And the next time you move - teabags in clearly marked box, last out first in Wink

Thank you madmouse. The annoying thing is I'm in the same area and have only moved down the road! House not as nice as the last one...Like I say, I can only see the negatives at the moment! Poo.

Anxiety is not rational!I move from 15 mins drive to my closest friends to 20-25 mins drive and it really threw me.

You're too right it's not! Last night was pretty unpleasant- not very much sleep at all, but have made some headway with unpacking this morning... Still feeling very anxious on and off tho..
