As it says up there really?

A friend sent me a magazine clipping on it a few days ago, I've been reading through the website etc and it all sounds too good to be true, and generally in my experience is something sounds 'too good to be true' then it is.

Just wondered if any MN had tried it?

Assuming this is the one where you try and 'rewire' the amygdala (sp?) area of the brain that processes fear, then my ex tried this some years back and with some (albeit limited) success.

From the perspective of an outsider (e.g. me!) it seemed to boil down to acknowledging the fear and doing it regardless. I remember it included making peace with panic attacks and sort of adapting a 'well come on then, have one already' attitude to them. A bit like double bluffing yourself. I hope it works for you if you do decide to try it. It worked for my ex initially but he somewhat lost faith in it after a few relapses.

From my own experience I would say ignore the claims of guaranteeing 100% recovery - but there is some useful stuff which is mainly common sense but can help to go through it. Expensive though - so if its a struggle to pay for it I probably wouldnt buy it.
