Have been experiencing a lot of stress and over analysing on every trivial thing and making myself anxious continuously. Reached breaking point whereby just feel tearful and lost. Never been here before and dont know what to do. I think it is freakish to be so analytical and overthink on anything. Anybody with similar problem and how to get out of it.

first thing - you are not a freak! It is not normal to be analytical to the point you feel so anxious. But you are by no means alone in doing this.

I have been where you are now

You have just taken the first step in getting out of it.

The next step you need to take is to discuss this with your GP, they will most likely refer you for counselling of some sort. They may ask if you want to take anti-depressants of some kind. This is up to you of course, but there are drugs out there that specifically battle anxiety and do work. I took them for a while and it did really help.

There are lots of lovely ladies on here who can help and share experiences with you.

I've been exactly the same and at last I plucked up the courage to go to the GPs. I nearly had a panic attack on the way there but I did it! I was very honest. He prescibed me diazepam to help with the anxiety and I will go back to talk more with filled in questionnaires next week. I must say I'm so relieved now to have spoken to someone properly about it. And the tablets have helped take the edge off so I can try and think a bit more cearly. Good luck
