Anyone who was nauseous when first taking sertraline?

I've just taken my first dose today. Diagnosed with antenatal depression yesterday. Took it a few hours ago and already feeling hideously nauseous. Unfortunately, I think the unrelenting sickness and nausea I suffered in the first trimester was a factor in the development of the depression. So I'm terrified of it coming back.

If you felt nauseous/ were sick when you first started the meds, how long did it last? Was anyone prescribed antiemetics alongside the ADs?

Thanks.

Hiya, nausea is the most common side effect in pretty much any anti depressant so don't panic. Eat some carbs like toast and get some sleep. It will soon pass.
