A simple cure that has worked for me

I have been on citalopram for 4 months. Terrible PMT, suicidal thoughts, anxiousness etc... I was at a loss of why I felt so bad. I've been having counselling and even the psychologist said I should look at my hormone levels or some sort of physical cause for my depression.

A week ago I gave up caffeine - I have had no PMT, no suicidal thoughts, anxiousness or anything else. I am no longer depressed. I was only drinking 4-5 cups of tea a day, very little coffee maybe once a week and I don't eat much chocolate. It has made my mood much more even. Its like a miraculous cure. I do crave tea but not its side effects. Maybe worth a try. I thought I would share my experiences.

That's weird- did it play around with seratonin levels or something?

Brilliant though, good for you!

I also found that my anxiety improved hugely when I gave up caffeine.

Just wanted to say, wow, that's really useful info. Will definitely be trying that. To be free of anxiety would be amazing.
