Can ADs work as quickly as 4 days?

I went to the GP on Tuesday and got ADs as I am struggling with post psychotic depression.

Today and yesterday have both been really good days. I haven't had a good day for a long time, and to get two in a row is unheard of.

Could it really be the ADs already??

Yes, it is possible. Just enjoy the good days, don't be too shocked if you stil lget a few bad ones. After all the good weather may also give you a lift in mood.

Thanks madmouse. Yes, I am really enjoying the good days. I just hope I don't take the bad ones too badly.

Good weather? Not here. Mist and fog Sad

Don't worry. That you're feeling better is all that matters.

It could just be a touch of placebo effect, but if that works til the true effect kicks in then that's great. Just don't get disheartened if you have any off days in the next couple of weeks.

Glad you're feeling good.

I started to feel better after 5 days of the right meds and within 2 weeks was remarkably better but I was so bloody ill and at an all time low so any improvement was obvious!. Glad to hear you sre feeling better depression is horrid-best of luck in your recovery.

I feel a lot more robust. I have spent a long time sort of feeling ok, but then the tiniest thing makes me feel down again.

you are right, depression is horrible. I took one of those "how depressed are you" tests, and it reckoned moderate to severe Sad so any improvement is very welcome indeed. Smile
