Need to pull myself together - but how?

I am trying to do all I can to help get myself out of a low patch, but it is very hard. I need to go to bed tonight and wake up tomorrow brighter and better prepared for the day. How do I do that? All the 'problems' which are making me feel like this are still going to be there....

NASWM..start by reminding yourself that worrying about them makes no difference whatsoever!!

Good sleep and then think about them again tomorrow,ok?
Late night is not a good time to dwell.

Getting some sleep will help a bit - things always seem worse when you're tired. But (and take this from one who knows) if you are really depressed then you can't "pull yourself together" - you need some help.

Thanks for replying moondog and sorenlorensen. I did wake up a bit better, although gone down hill since then. I really wish there was a quick fix for this..

What's the problem??

NASWM · 31/01/2006 17:41

Where shall I start?!

Being serious though, I thihk I am depressed and am just trying to manage it that's all. It's not one thing, but everything. Thanks for asking.

How are you NASWM? I saw you were feeling lonely tonight. I am alone tonight (well, without dh, still got the kids!) and would love to chat. I know I can't make things better, but a bit of friendliness goes a long way!

NASWM · 01/02/2006 20:30

Thanks LM I'm here - where are you? I've just been to 'chat'
