Has anyone else fall into the trap of transference. Ie. when you were younger hero worshipping someone almost to obcession? In particular non errotic maternal transference. Ie. were you besotted with your maths teacher? (but not sexually attracted) Did you find yourself unfairly hating a health professional because she reminded you of your mum?
Do you know of any books on this phenomona or books on learning to avoid or manage transferences when they happen.
