I have suffered from depression most of my life and tried many antidepressants. After my last (3rd) child 3 years ago, I believe i was suffering Post natal depression, but due to life's pressures, never had the time to address it. My question is this: although I am ok with cital, I am concerned that all the comments i have seen date back almost 2 years! is my treatment outdated? is there something better on the market? I live in africa, so keeping up with the 1st world is always a concern

I am in citalopram 40 mg in the uk. As I understand if us one of the first ad's a doctor will prescribe for depression as it is generally quite well tolerated by most ppl. Hth x
