ADs whilst TTC?

I have suffered on and off with depression and severe anxiety since i was a teenager.

It's returned now - brought on my awful situation at work (which i am trying to resolve)

GP has suggested Anti depressants but we are TTC (have been for 6 months) and he says they are not compatible with TTC. I have had a little look online and found Paroxetine and Sertraline look to be okay to take whilst TTC.

Anyone got any experience of this?

I worry that the stress will stop me getting pregnant alltogether :(

My friend is a GP and I'm in a similar situation. I asked her advice she said setraline is safe in pregnancy. I think you feel you can cope with the stress of ttc whilst you deal with your anxiety and your GP isn't supportive, I'd request s second opinion. In the end, I opted for a course of counselling which really helped.
