What to expect at a counselling session

Finally decided i dealt with my "issues" and have arranged counselling but i have no idea what to expect. Any ideas?

Try the BACP website. It provides information on what to expect and what the different types of counselling are. It makes a lot of sense to find out what's available before you choose a counsellor. BACP are the most respected and broad counsellors organisation so they cover a lot.

Counselling is all about having a good working relationship with your counsellor, so try a few and see who you feel you could work with if you can.

Where i live my options are very limited (as in there is only this one) so cant really try a few. Will have a look on that website thanks
