Feel like I am treading water, want to erupt and cry but cant. Think that if I have a big wailing weep I will feel better. Not sure what this is all about? - maybe inhibited and worried about loosing control at the wrong time ? maybe my ADs have blunted my emotional reponses so although intellectually I want to cry/express - physically it is not happening>

Sorry you are feeling like this. Maybe you need to have something happen to release it. Maybe watch a sad story or something? You will feel better after a good cry, it's good to let emotion out.

I tell you what had me unexpectedly in floods a couple of weeks ago, and you may still be able to find it on iplayer, it was a BBC Panarama programme about adoption. I don't cry easily (Pat dying in Eastenders, not even a sniff) but this programme really touched me. It might be worth a try, I think it would affect anyone who has children. I am a big fan of a good cry as therapy.

Sorry for slight hijack here but that programme got me too Becky. It was so sad and I'm generally quite numb too.
