Heres why it started:

Currently have mastitis and dr gave me amoxacillin. I've had fluxacillin b4 and was fine....but I've convinced myself that my throat is closing and I can breath. I can breath but when I take a deep breath I can't 'get it'. I also have a lump in my throat, it hurts, do you think I am reacting or just panicking, oh god!! Took tab at 6, surely 3 hours later is a bit late for a sudden bad reaction? Only got worse when i thought about it..Talk me down!! Feel like I'm dying I HATE panic!!!

Sit down. Slow your breathing, don't force your breath just take it gently. Close your eyes and focus on something calming. Ocean waves lapping at the shore, slowly breaking. Keep bringing your mind back to the image. Slow your breath. Gentle breaths not to deep.

Hope it's passed and that you're feeling calmer. Panic is a horrible feeling.

I find making myself breath in through my nose and out through my mouth calms my breathing when I'm panicking.

And Rescue Remedy. I have it in my desk draw, handbag and bedside table.

These are facts:

It will pass soon

You will not come to any harm

It's not nice but it will not damage you

It's just thoughts and having a thought does not mean 'it' is going to happen

It's just a flood of adrenaline

It will pass soon

.......keep telling yourself that, over and over.
