Mirtazipine and getting pregnant

Just wanted to say that I took between 3g and 7.5g each night of mirtazipine during my second pregnancy and have continued to do so for the months after the birth. I have a beautiful breast fed baby daughter who has slept through the night since she was 6 weeks old and who is now 3months. I tried to come off mirtazipine many times but got dreadful withdrawal symptons (anxiety, insomnia, headaches etc) so in the end decided to take a risk and get pregnant while taking it. I am so glad I did and wanted to share this in case anyone else is in the same predicament as I was. The does I took is very low and my doctor is convinced it does't have any effect but I know it does.

Thanks for that, I've just joined and spookily was searching for this when you posted. I've been told it's a no-no, but really I think there simply isn't the data on it, which I suppose would make it a no, but I imagine there are lots of people who have been born to women on it who are perfectly fine. You've got one anyway; athough it's a low dose, nevertheless that's something really good. Cheers for sharing.
