I've just made an appointment to see them Monday for an 'open access appointment'. Has anyone any experience with them?

Currently on Citalopram, have been for months, feel rubbish about everything & just thought I'd try.

Yes I've tried them. The staff at my local one are lovely and really tried to make me feel less anxious but ultimately the waiting lists for their courses in my area are very long (I was told expect to wait more than 2 months for anxiety management). They do have support groups for various things which you can turn up to immediately.

At my open access appointment, they just asked a whole load of questions to gather my history then suggested things they had on offer that might help. It took about an hour in total.

My MIL works for them, they are invaluble! the services they provide are fantastic, The government will have a lot to answer to with there cuts.

Mind already fill the huge gap in NHS care for mental health. but they have been hit hard.
