Is this panic and stress or a bug?

I have just found out there is somethin the matter with my dd heart and have started having panic attacks again. We are supposed to be going to spain in 2 weeks so obviously now I dont want to go but it is difficult as we are going with family who have paid for it for us. Last niht dh and I had words about wether we should go or not. After this I immediatly ot a knot in my tummy and started feeling sick, woke up twice in the niht and was sick and i am really dizzy and oing hot and cold (I am also an emptephobe so hate being sick). Does this sound like stress or panic or beginnin of a bug?

Well I can't rule out a bug not being a doctor and all that, but stress and panic seems like and no wonder. Your dd's heart no less and then pressure to go on holiday.

Just because someone else paid for it is no reason to go if you would not normally go. How serious is this heart problem? Will it need treatment?

Do you have other dcs? Can dh go with them?

There is a narrowin in the main blood vessel to her heart.

Yes I have another dc and this is what the arguement was about as I still want her to go as my mam is going and dh could go, but he is saying if me and dd dont go no one goes. I can just feel myself slipping back into anxiety and panic

does she need treatment? Have you asked her consultant if it is safe for her to go away? If it is then maybe going would take your mind off things.

Do keep reminding yourself that panic is harmless, it is just feelings and they are not always linked to reality (speaking from experience here- I'm quite prone to them, last night because ds had a mild temp, not even enough for calpol - but because I know it's only a panic attack it always passes quickly)
