he didn't touch them so said his lawyer it wasn't so bad

oh and he was sorry

my abuser was a teacher too although he raped me (many times) when I was very young

I thought children were safer at school now

Can't handle this alone

i didnt see it,but i sympathise. how awful. do you have someone with you,to talk it over with??

am going through something myself, well my dd is,i'm just the mum left wondering how the hell it all happened.

GypsyMoth · 15/04/2011 22:56

you ok there op?

madmouse · 15/04/2011 22:57

That's even worse - if it happens to your child

At least it was only me and I survived

DH not here at the moment - well in the house but busy and absent minded

theres a police case going on....she was filmed showering by her friends relative (at their house)

she brought the phone home but had locked so couldnt see what else was on it. bloody mobiles make it so much easier these days. we are really worried, was it a one off,or is he part of some gang selling stuff on,putting it over the internet etc......

anyway. have you had counselling for it? help of any sort. thats horrific. i read on another forum the other day about a mum who found pics of girls from the school her dad works in...on his phone. she was distraught.

the sentences need to be tougher imo....

yes I finished 2 years of therapy in December and am mostly doing very well. The bastard did so much damage that it will probably always hurt when things like this happen.

Please tell your dd that whatever happened cannot have been her fault in any way. Tell her a 1000 times.

i do mm. i try to anyway. it was at her friends house where this man stays every weekend. so all their friends could have been filmed too. her friend who lives there definitely was.

police are checking everything.....we wont know til mid june. she's 16. her friend is taking it far worse than dd tho. she doesnt feel safe in her own home so tends to come here alot. how old were you mm? to be actually raped,i cant comprehend that,in school too. just terrible

am so glad the therapy has helped you

madmouse · 15/04/2011 23:26

I was 7 when it started, 8 when he first raped me, 10 or 11 when it stopped

oh my!! how terrible. i really feel for you.

madmouse · 15/04/2011 23:35

thanks for your support x

Just want you to know that children can recover to a large extend from abuse if they have loving adults around them who take protecting action and validate their experience (ie say it was wrong, they are innocent, it was not their fault)

So hold on to that

I had none of that and that has done immeasurable damage. Your daughter does have it. she will get through it.

Madmouse I am sorry that happend to you. I understand if you dont want to do this but I have stopped watching the news because these sort of stories really trigger me I have been much happier for it.

I am also sorry for your Dd ILoveTiffany.

MotherSnacker · 18/04/2011 10:10

Sorry to hear that madmouse. You give so much support to others on here.

madmouse · 18/04/2011 12:53

Thank you MS - It is important for me to support others because that means all the pain was not for nothing.

But sometimes I need support myself and I would be lost without this place
