I may have to go to the Drs about some mild chest pains i have been having. What is stopping me is that they will have to touch me to have a thorough examination and i really don't want them to, nor do i want to have to lift my top and show any part of me.

I am pretty sure that it's down to stress anyway but when i go back i will have to explain why i abandoned my regular appts re eating and depression too.

Have you always felt like this about being touched or is it recent ??

I know is hard but go to your doctor even if you just sit there and explain the situation !

Hope all goes well xxx

I have been like this for a while. More so recently after talking with a friend about some of my abuse. Plus I have put a lot of weight on and hate it.

I avoid the DRs anyway, had a lovely lady who did all she could to help with the little I told her but the nxt visit was a referral to hospital psych's and I didn't want that so just never went back.

Could you try and wear clothing that would mean not lifting your tshirt up completely making it a bit easier? Like a vest top/cami under a shirt so you could just unbutton it and still be covered underneath? Hope you manage to get to see them soon, I am sure your GP would be understanding if you could explain :)

BUt would they not need to get underneath to hear properly? Would they have to physically examine me? The pain is kind of just under my (very small) breast so any kind of palpation would mean i would have to remove my bra too. My nipples are one of the places i SH :/

Obviously I am not a doctor but I really really really doubt that you would need to take your bra off. Or even a top off, i think they just move it. Afterall they don't have to be right on your heart to hear it with a stethiscope
