Dd is 14 and has suffered fro OCD for years, has had CBT successfully and things were under control.
Not affecting her too much.
Her main issue is worrying about ds (11)
WIll he be sick, will he die in the night, is he eating too many chocolates...
Now ds has never been sick since a baby, has chocolate a couple of times a week, and we are all getting so fed up. aS soon as he comes in from school she tries to regulate what he eats, is lways asking what time meals are, how I'm going to cook the food, will it be cooked properly.
DS has a bit of a cold today-she went into meltdown at bedtime-and has announced she is dreading XMas because of all the worry .
I think she'll have to go back for therapy in the New Year, but am not looking forward to the next few days,.

Did she bring back any self help "tricks"/coping strategies from her CBT?

She has a mantra "is it likely, is it awful"- we need to start it up again.

Yes, sounds like she could do with a booster. A coping strategy, TLC and diversions will help.
