sleeping tablets in pg

Suffering from intolerable insomnia, my Dr agreed to prescribe me 7 sleeping tablets. We discussed Temazepam (sp) but when I got them home I sawI had been given Zimovane/zopiclone. Anyone know if this is safe in pg, or do you think this was a mistake? I was on these tablets previously so maybe they were just left over on the prescrip and she forgot to change it. thanks.

I think you should wait and speak to a pharmacist/your GP tomorrow if possible.

Oh, glad to be of use :)

Give your GP a phone call first thing in the morning and tell her than you think you've been prescribed the wrong thing, and can she do another prescription for you for collection later in the day...

I was prescribed these in early pregnancy, took them and then found out I shouldn't have and was gutted. They are also highly addictive- ask for something else.
