If you've only been on it a week it can actually make you feel a bit worse still - be patient.

Plus you may need a higher dose.

BangingNoise · 05/12/2010 17:36

Yes, 10mg is a very low dose, but it's common to start on such a low amount. Madmouse is right - you will feel worse for a while. It takes at least three weeks to start feeling any positive effect.

I was on a 10mg dose for six months, 10mg was enough for me, but as long as you are telling your doctor everything he will make sure you end up on the right dose. It does take a while for the drug to start working. Give it time.

If you are feeling ok, you could stick at 10mg for now, but have a chat with the doctor.
For what it's worth, when my dose was upped, I didn't feel any of the strange side effects that I had at the start.
I'm glad you're feeling calmer Smile
