Hi. I've just moved town into a lovely bungalow. The new town is perfect, i should be happy, but i'm feeling very low. I hurt my shoulder in the move & i'm not getting much sleep. Plus my 5mo ds is still on four hourly feeds. I only feel settled when i'm on my own with ds. I'm struggling being round dh, he's quite full on. I hope this feeling goes away very soon. Even considering taking half a valium to help me drop off tonight.

hi
congratulations on the move and for getting through it despite hurting your shoulder.
you have move to your "perfect" town.
you must be tired after the move especially with a 5 month old neading 4 hourly feeds, very demanding.
sounds like you need just a bit of time out. can you leave ds with someone for couple of hours and go exploring the new surroundings? think a totally ful on dh sounds tough if your are tired. no harm in taking half a valium to help? x

Thanks for reading this. Feeling ok today, finishing the boxes helped a lot! Feeling 'at home'. Didn't take any valium. It's just hard to deal with my dh, i really feel he needs some cognitive therapy, it's like having two children. Plus it's hard to understand him as he has a very strong northern accent. He's so happy & bouncy right now i don't want to bring him down. But he's had some terrible things happen to him which he's never dealt with. I do love him, but it's hard to find the strength for him! I sometimes wonder if i'd be better off single, but i don't want to split up this family. I will sit him down eventually and explain how i'm feeling. I can't live like this for the rest of my life.
