Nervous about CPN appointment

Hi, I just need to say this, there isn't anyone here in RL that I can admit how scared about this I am, to.

I have a CPN appointment this afternoon at 2.30 pushed for by myself after a really scary 'thing' a couple of weeks ago. I am scared cause I really don't know what can of worms I am opening.

Just hope she is fairly sympathetic!! we'll see.

Sorry just needed to off load, although I guess that's what this afternoon is for.

aww hun you wil be fine...i remeber being petrified of my cpns first visit and she is an absolute darling. It is hard to open up to people especially strangers but please try and be honest cos at the end of the day they are there too help.

aww not stupid at all...i get really worked up about 'strangers' coming into the house but thats part of the vunerability of mental health. Really try not to stress

Phew!! well it was fine after all and being totally flippant .... I'm not loosing it. Which is a real weight lifted cause I really really wasn't sure if something was seriously wrong with me.

Have to go on AD's which I'm not totally comfortable about but need to make sure that this does not happen again, also being referred for CBT techniques and a local support group so feel that it was a positive consultation.
