ooops now this is where i should have posted;
anyway; i wanted to share ;have intermittent depression and anxiety ; take high potency fish oils which are good for low level depression and mental clarity, but don't deal with deeper depression (when tired)and phases of unexplained anxiety which come on for no reason and lasts a few days;dont want to take antidepressants like my neighbour, for PND but do want to try other natural remedies. I also get SAD which could be why im feeling worse as autumn is approaching.I find excercise helps and am considering counselling again.any suggestions?

Meditation / yoga
St Johns Wort
'Sedative' herbal teas like Valerian for night time anxiety

All of which I think would be good to try, but as usual I stick with my sleeping tablets... usually! (note talk name!)

Try Magnesium-OK tablets from Boots for anxiety and / or insomnia. They are supposed to help with sleep and anxiety generally. I find them really good.
