should I feel like this

Hi

I have been on fluoxetine 20mg for one week now, and I feel so tired all the time, and I just wanted to ask if this is what is suppose to happen and will this last, I cant imagine feeling like this all the time, tired and sickey

could someone please reassure me that its going to get better

You've only been on it a week!

You should find the side effects start to subside after 2 weeks. That's when the anti depressant action starts to kick in too. Although it may take 6 weeks before you feel fully better.

I've not been on prozac myself but have tried quite a few others. The side effects do subside IME. I would give it at least 2 weeks. If it's still unbearable you could go back to dr and ask for a different one, although TBH they will probably want you to give it a good go for 6 weeks before switching.

yip! Along with "weakness in the body" if I remember the blurb inside the pack - all normal.
