finances when someone has been sectioned

my ex partner has been sectioned and we have a daughter together. he pays me maintenance each month in cash as he does not have a bank account .now he has been sectioned does he need to appoint someone to be in charge of his finances while he is in hospital ?

Hi you can also try direct.gov.uk or the citizens' advice bureau. Hope that helps and you get everything sorted out
