Painful implant...anyone else?

I had my implant put in in November 2012 and for the past month I've had continuous headaches and a painful and itching sensation where my implant is. I had one around 3 years ago with no problems (except periods!) but nothing like this. Has anyone else had this problem? :/

Sorry, no - I had mine put in at the same time, but no headaches/itching. (this is the arm implant, not mirena, I'm assuming!)

Sounds like you're body is reacting to it (isn't there a different brand used now? seem to recall on an older thread people talking about that)...

Might be worth talking to your dr, doesn't sound very convenient to have those side effects..
