If you have just started to run and you are doing hill running that might be the cause. I found when I first started doing hill running it got me in the top of my 'butt' and the very bottom of my back as I was actually running, but it did wear off very quickly when I got home.

Have you tried 'mapmyrun'? It is a website that allows you to plot your run so you know exactly how far you are running, and I used it at the beginning to plot a run near to my ds nursery, because this was reasonably flat, and it is hilly near me. That is how I got over it. hth

thanks I will try it - at the moment I am afraid that if I wander off far away from home then I will so tire I cant manage to come but I will try that so I dont have to kee running near the house.I am feeling better today but was really painful yesterday and I dont want to make mistakes so you end up with bad back problems. Thanks

hi notanidea, mapmyrun doesn't need iphone - can just do on your computer with the map function - i.e. before or after the run itself.
