Sore knee and 5k run on Sunday

I'm doing the Race for Life on Sunday, and really hoping to run all of it, as I've never been this fit before.

However, part of my training (as I have 2 young DCs and a DH who works long hours) has been doing the 30 day shred workout DVD. Unfortunately, my right knee is really sore from doing this. I thought it was my technique from doing jumping jacks, but after 3 days of making sure my technique was spot on, my knee hurts even more.

Should I stop training full stop before the run, and hope that my knee improves before Sunday, or keep going to keep my fitness levels up?

Stop training - it wont make that much difference to your fitness levels but will give your knee time to heal.

I was considering 30 day shred but might not bother if it is bad for your knees - mine are dodgy enough.

Cool, thanks.

Any cardio excercises I can do in the mean time that won't affect my knee at all?
