hi, can't find anything on that 30 day shred I keep hearing about?

I really need a kickstart, was wondering if anyone could tell me about this...

is it very bouncy/jumpy? unfortunately I don't own a bra made of iron...

There is a whole thread somewhere, will find it, hang on a sec..

Thread here

It is quite 'jumpy', you have to do thirty second bursts of jumping jacks and other jumping type exercises so you do need a really good sports bra, but it is also REALLY effective.

If you don't want to whack yourself = in the chin, tighten the straps on your sports bra

But yes, it's very good. Very intense though.

I ended up half nekkid laying in a sweaty heap on the floor, when my friend called in for a cuppa and asked, rather shame shamefacedly, if she had interrupted something

wow that's a long thread! have browsed through it. what I couldn't work out is, is it more for people who aren't very overweight but need to tone up? or can fat people do it too? (worried about impact TBH) I have around 4st to lose before I even think about toning

I do like the fact that (a) it's only £6 and (b) it's only 20 mins!

it will be quite a step up from my Davina post-natal workout

It is for anyone I think. If you don't have much to lose then it will give you some muscle definition, if you do have weight to lose then it will raise your heart rate which will increase your fitness and it will also build some lean muscle which will increase your metabolism, so if you eat a healthy balanced diet alongside then you will definitely see weight loss as well as improved fitness. There are nearly always two versions of each exercise an easy and a harder one and when you get to the point where you can't do anymore then stop and take deep breaths for five seconds then join back in, even if it's just for another five seconds before you stop! You'll soon notice an improvement and that you have to stop less frequently. Don't be put off if the first time you do it you have to stop lots of times, don't just think, 'this is too hard for me', keep at it and within ten days you will notice how much your fitness has improved.

Am Bfing and shredding. Wear two different kinds of sports bras and is fine. Shred is V hard work though! Not watching what eat at moment as combination of the two would be too much for me so still same weight (get stupidly hungry in the evenings) but has made a huge difference to my abs and my muffin top also looks better so am happy overall. Would factor in days off and also taking it at your own pace - I've been doing it 4 and a bit weeks and am on Level 2. No plans to move up a level for a while (want to be able to cope with doing Level 2 properly first).
