My understanding is that they are abandonning the system whereby if you are turned down on 5 consecutive occasions, you will automatically get entry the following year....but if you applied for the 2009 and 2010 events you would receive an email sent out week beginning 19th April, enabling you to apply for 2011. Everyone else can enter on-line from beg of May.
So, I thought that as I had applied for both 2009 and 2010, I would receive the priority email - but nothing has arrived. There is a notice on the Virgin Marathon website saying that if you think you should have received this email, to ring a London number. I have been ringing yesterday and today, and it is permanently engaged. And the deadline for entry is tomorrow. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions of what I can do (other than find another marathon!)Anyone got an email address for the London Marathon? Thanks
