Since Xmas I've managed to lose half a stone, and it has all been down to using Davina McColls exercise DVDs - I find them really good and challenging but I've found I'm finding them easier to do. I've been managing to do them about 3 times a week and I'm really starting to see a difference.
Only problem is that I know I will eventually start to get bored with them so does anyone else know any other good exercise DVDs that I could maybe give a go?

So pinkheart - what is your favourite Davina - I really like the boxing ones - and although I find them really tought I like the ones that concentrate on your bottom half and I've loved feeling that I am getting better at them - I'm enjoying the challenge!
I also like the atmosphere in them - hard work but nice and relaxed as well - I like that they have a bit of banter with each other and I think they pick good music as well.

Clicked to recommend Davina too My favourite is stil her first one - Power of 3, which I use along with High Energy 5. I like the boxing too! I like all the others but find them too short (the rest all seem ot have their own warmup/cool down which makes the actual workouts too short IYSWIM) My friend who also loves Davina has recommended Nell McAndrew's workouts but haven't tried them myself.

Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, short but very effective. Tae Bo ones are also great for raising heart rate and really working your abs.

Ministry of Sound Have a couple of these and they are much the best exercise dvd's I have ever used, really get you going.

I'm quite liking the look of the minstry of sound ones - think I would like the music and also the reviews on Amazon are pretty favourable so think I might give that one a go - and thanks for those who have put on suggestions

snooks14 - my fave one is the power of 3, when i first did it i was going to london shopping a couple of days later with a friend, but i could hardly move for a week after doing it. sitting down and getting up was a problem! abd i love the banter and all the looks davina pulls while shes doing the routines to.

I just bought the 30 Day Shred one. I like the idea it's short and I don't have too much time really especially with the kids too. I already have the Charlie Brooks one which is good but I lack co-ordination for that one! Hoping between that and my new running hobby I'll be in my bikini in the Med by August! (2 stone ideally to lose, I'm 5ft 6 and nearly 11 1/2 stone )
