Anyone taking part in Sport Relief

Any one taking part in sport relief on 21st March, We are all doing the Birmingham mile. Youngest (aged 8) has a football match in the morning and eldest (aged 10) has a cross country race the day before, so only signed up to run the mile. We have done it twice before and the kids love it, they have got the socks and the Beckham T-shirt.

yup- have just signed up self, dp and ds
have been doing the couch to 5k plan and this seemed like a good target at about the right time. We will be doing the 3 miles- a challenge for me, but not for dp and ds, they are humouring me by coming along!

Well good for you shallishanti, hopefully the weather will be kind to us, enjoy the race.

Only 3 day to go now the kids are really excited especially as they keep seeing the adverts on the TV and they can say I?m doing that.

7y DD is running the mile with her dad. She wanted to do the 3 miles but DH vetoed it, lol. I will be cheering them on and taking photos.

DD has the socks, wrist bands and a sports cup.

Yes we are doing it - just the mile for us. Last time it took nearly an hour. I'm hoping it will be a lot quicker this time round as they are a bit older.

Our socks arrived this morning. DCs will be very excited!

and managed a practice run last night, 3 of your earth miles, can hardly believe it.

We're doing the Manchester Mile - and get to walk down the cobbles of Coronation Street. DC are doing it in fancy dress and I've been sponsored to wear the Shirt of Hurt.
