Open water swimming.Anyone do it? .

Can anyone advice a wetsuit?
Does it HAVE to be one that suitable for a triathlon for the great east swim?

DH swims in a triathlon wetsuit.
Apparently more movement for the arms than a standard wetsuit - Don't know if he is pulling the wool over my eyes though!

you definitely need a wetsuit specifically designed for swimming otherwise you won't be able to use your arms properly and the benefits you gain from being warm(er) and buoyant will be lost from not being able to swim right!

dh is the open water swimmer, not me - I need tiles and chlorine
