Anyone successfully got a 'bikini body'

Basically I am overweight but not by much. I need to lose about 10 pounds to feel comfortable but at the same time I want to try to sculpt my body, tone up and look better.

Has anyone managed to do this with some kind of intensive or frequent excercises? Do I need to do 200 Sit-ups a day and just keep it up or are there other things I can do?
