Music for running - what do you have?

I just started running and need ideas for music for running. What do you have on your running playlist?

I run but don't listen to music as it distracts me from my footfall and the peace and quiet I get from running (no kids demanding things, no telephones, no washing up..)
DH runs and he listens to The Flaming Lips a lot as he says it's uplifting but not so upbeat that it makes him feel pressured.

I have loads on my iTunes that I could use, just not sure what is more useful, upbeat or more relaxing.

Distraction is necessary for me.

I enjoy some Kaiser Chief songs, upbeat and keep me going.
Listened to Wild by Erasure (oldy, but a goody) the other day which was fun.

me too need music. we on the running thread (come and see us) like the indiesouprunner podcasts, look on itunes they are free.

i used to spend ages fiddling around with playlists so is very useful. also broadens my horizons.
