Is anyone else out there affected by this news? My 6 year old has been going to Saturday morning footie coaching there since he was 3 and will be DEVASTATED when he clocks that it is all coming to an end in just a few weeks. Very strange at the session this morning as there was no official announcement or communcation. No management in sight in fact. Just left to the poor staff on reception and the coaches (all of whom appear to be losing their jobs contrary to some of the stuff I have read) to do their best to deal with similarly devastated kids and parents. It is such an amazing place - fantastic coaching staff who have been so well trained to deal with kids of all ages and all levels of ability and make them feel so GOOD about themselves and live the dream when they play footie every week. People come there from miles away - must be literally hundreds of kids going there every week. Can't believe that it is all folding so suddenly and all that coaching talent will go to waste. Be interested to hear if anyone knows any more of the back story on why AEG have pulled the plug so suddenly - and if you can recommend a good Saturday morning footie coaching session in east london for the new year!

Hi tinkerbell
I hadn't heard about this - my DN went to a one day thing and LOVED it.
