A good age to start ice skating?

dd is 3.2.

She is desparate to have a go at ice skating.

Is she too young? I don't know much at all about ice skating (I've had a go a few times and can just about do it without falling over much). I know nothing about physical development. Do her ankles need to be stronger or older or something?

Does anyone know?
