Exercising after 7pm?

I was chatting to a friend about losing baby weight and she asked when I found the time to exercise with 2 boys. She said she struggles with just her 2mo dd. So I said that I mainly did it after they went to bed at 7pm. She then told me that you shouldn't exercise after 7pm because it can muck up your metabilism(sp).

I want to know if it is true because if it is then I will struggle to exercise as much.

Thanks.

What crap.
I go to aerobics twice a week at 8:00 pm and am fit as fiddle with normal metabolism.

I don't think there's any truth in this because loads of people exercise in the evening as that is the only time they can.

I sometimes exercise till 9.30, sometimes in the early morning, and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

9.30pm, I meant!

SamJamsmum · 18/05/2009 08:33

Nonsense. Tons of working people exercise in the evening.

That is good then. After 7pm is the only time I really get to do much.

It's also not true that food eaten in the evening makes you fatter than food eaten in the morning.

This is rubbish, however I usually would eat a larger lunch when I am exercising in the evening and a snack at about 5pm so I have the energy to train! ENjoy
