Hi, I need a bit more exercise (well, I need a lot more, but realistically plan to start with a bit more ). I have a video - Rosemary Connoly 10 minute workouts - but I'd like a DVD as we don't have the video plugged in at the moment.

A lot of the workout DVDs I've seen take 50 or 60 minutes, and the fact is I don't often have that much time in one go, so I don't think I'd make any real use of them.

Does anyone know of any with a number of shorter workouts, say 10 to 20 minutes each? Ideally, ones which are not too demanding but which will get me started - obviously if I use this regularly I'll "outgrow" it after a while, but that won't bother me if it's worked as stage 1.

Thanks

I recommend Davina's 3 30 minute workouts. Each one is different, each lasts for just 30 minutes and the idea is you try to fit each of them into your week so you will do an hour and a half exercise in total per week.

Personally I struggle to carve out more than that per day in personal time, and there is no way I could get to a gym, but I just about manage to do these most weeks and they make a big difference.

I have Davina's High Energy Five - it has five sections, each of which is 20 minutes. The "high energy" bit makes it sound demanding, but I managed to get through most of them ok the first time I did them and I'm seriously overweight and unfit.

Thanks - I'll take a look at both of those. 20 or 30 minutes is probably do-able!
