Which kind of trainers do I need?

It's been many years since I've worn trainers. I'm now playing pickleball and doing circuits. I've been wearing some Clarks "trainers" but they aren't grippy enough for e.g. mountain climbers at circuits.

Is there a unicorn trainer that would work for both sports? I've been trying to go as flat/low heel as possible in recent years. Also something basic and reasonable price. Needn't look fashionable.

If you like minimalist shoes (flat/low heel) then inov-8 do a zero drop gym shoe called the Bare-XF. They also do a couple of slightly less aggressive gym shoes with 4mm drop.

Vivobarefoot also do very low/flat/flexible shoes including some gym specific ones.

Both UK companies of that is important to you.
