Best gym workouts and routines for a slimmer tummy

What is your go to workout for a slimmer tummy? I have a pt at least twice a week for strength training. I also go to the gym and do my own workout. This is where I get a bit lost with what to do. Any tips and advice on a routine would be amazing 👏 🏋️‍♀️

do you mean you want to reduce fat? As I'm sure your PT has told you, you can't sport reduce it and no exercise will specifically burn fat located on the stomach. So if it's extra fat that bothers you, you would need to be in calorie deficit to lose weight all over.
You can train your abs to be stronger though, like any other muscles. My usual ab program is various planks, weighted crunches (machine or cable), leg raises, dragon flags, hanging leg raises (incl toes to bar), weighted knee raises.

spot reduce it should say, not sport.
So any social media ad that promises you can 'get rid of stubborn belly with those simple exercises' is pure BS.

Great advice thank you 😊 I am trying to stay in a calorie deficit routine and plan on amping up my workouts.
