It is of course good news especially for those who have submitted multiple ballots in the past, but will it take away the magic for 2nd day runners?

I think that Tower Bridge and The Mall will be there on both days.
So given that those are the things I dream about when I dream about running London, no.

i hope not. I’m going to apply for a good for age place and so I doubt I’ll be on the day with the male elites. I’m worried the day with the men’s race will be the main event and the other day won’t be as well supported. I’m a bit gutted about it really. Also I won’t know if I have good for age for sure until October and getting a hotel is going to be a nightmare.

You expressed my sentiments.
I am also worried that the second day will be less supported. Also if you're a local, I can't imagine them being too thrilled about a 2 day disruption.
