Looking for a bit of reassurance - is this just me or does it happen to others…..
Went for a run today as I’m on holiday, relaxed and felt like a bit of movement without bad weather or time pressure. About 1.5 miles in a got a crampy feeling and then when back at the hotel started spotting (3 miles run in total and then 1 mile walked as the crampy feeling was uncomfortable). I’m mid cycle (day 14) and it is normal for me to spot a bit mid cycle at some points, but the cramps and it being triggered by running felt like this was the cause.
Up until around 6 months ago I did a lot of running and long distances and then dialled it right back significantly in favour of the gym rather than endless pavement pounding! Still fit and healthy just haven’t run a distance in a while. Up to date on smears and all good.
any ideas?!
