Running and corns!

Lovely topic I know. I must have odd feet after years of running regularly and am constantly developing corns on the soles of my feet in response to pressure points. They can be painful. And are really annoying. Do I need to keep going to a podiatrist to get them sorted or are there any other fixes I don’t know about? Is it just me?

My dad has bony feet and gets corns. He has them shaved out by the podiatrist every few months. Seems to work.

Have you had running shoes professionally fitted? There are places where they can assess your gait and sort you shoes and insoles accordingly, and that might help.

I have dreadful bunions and am struggling to find running shoes to fit so I'm tempted to try this myself.
