Yes! I failed on day 5 last year, but am still going this year <touches wood and whistles> Definitely feel ready to stop but the finish line is pretty close - we can do it!

Yep! It was my first one. I got through week 2 with a lot of Vick’s First Defence and Vit C!
I did toy with going out at midnight last night, but was fast asleep and did a leisurely 4k this morning.
What a great challenge!

Ooh I’ve never heard of this but just looked it up. One to aim for next year! I will be doing RED January (rise every day) so getting up and moving every day. Some do it as run every day. Well done those of you who did marcothon!

@tealandteal- there’s a really supportive FB group - where people encourage, cheer, celebrate and commiserate when people have to drop out. It’s currently called Marcothon 2025.

Gutted that I’ve only just seen this thread as I was a mumsnet marcothoner in 2025. Same again next year?
