I have just completed C25K and have been listening to music but im so board on my runs all I think is "this is so hard , I want to walk" on repeat.

Can anyone recommend a podcast ? I have never listened to them before so not sure where to start with searching for one to try, to see if that helps keep me distracted from the running.

Congrats on completing C25k.

Try the Women's running podcast. The two presenters are very smart and very funny. They talk about a lot of different things not just running.

Totally agree - I like listening to music but to sustain me through a decent length run I need something more distracting. What are your interests? I love history, so for that you can’t beat The Rest Is History, or if you want history+comedy, You’re Dead to Me on BBC sounds, or also Lady Killers with Lucy Worsley.

For health, I also love What’s Up Docs? on BBC sounds (with the doctors who do Operation Ouch, but for adults) or the back catalogue of Just One Thing with Michael Mosley.

I don’t usually like True Crime, but Teacher’s Pet (Australian cold case about the wife of a teacher who disappeared after he started having an affair with a student) had me so gripped my runs got longer and longer as I was so keen to find out what happened next that I kept running to keep listening.

If you are in the U.K., I’d download the BBC Sounds app and have a browse.

Not what you asked for but I've also just completed and started using the Zombies! run app which is a narrative as you run that pops in and out of your music. I'm only a couple of episodes in but finding out everything so far. Have also tried guided runs on the nike app.

I can't really run with podcasts as I need something up tempo but I do enjoy at other times:
Happy place (fearne cotton inteviews a guest)
Zoe podcast (about wellness science quite a lot about food/diet)
The affair (real life guests describe the affairs they/their partner had, sounds worse than it is.... Quite interesting as they are anonymous so will say this you'd never hear in real life)
