Workout plan after C-Section

Im 10 weeks postpartum (after C-Section) and looking to get back to the gym.

Does anyone have a good workout routine plan they used? I've looked online but I can only see videos to do workouts at home and I'd really like to get out! If you have any tips of how you increased the intensity of the workouts too that would be handy/good weekly workout plans

I don't want to overdo it too soon but I know this would make me feel a lot better. Looking to feel healthy again and tone up

I used postnatal exercise videos (back in the DVD era) to build up to standard classes/ workouts.
DS was about 5 months when I felt ready for mainstream exercise, and I felt mostly-functional from about 12 weeks.

For strength, I kept it light weight, higher reps, and increased intensity gradually week by week (either a bit more weight or an extra set, not both). If anything felt uncomfortable around my scar or core, I stopped — no pushing through pain.
Biggest tip: listen to your body, not timelines. Consistency beats intensity right now. Even 30–40 minutes at the gym helped me feel healthier, stronger, and more like myself again.
You’re doing the right thing by easing back in — it really does get better 💪

i was desperate to go back but went back too early after both my c-sections and hurt myself and it was horrid so do go slow and steady. i thought i was but definitely not enough. You body is still extra malleable from being pregnant and the layers stitches are still healing. It is frustrating but i felt such a fool when i did it the second time.

Go really slow, your muscles will be soft (trying to think of a different word) but I injured myself jumping into some hardcore boot camp in the park (I know that’s not your intention) but I didn’t realise how week I had become and just how I needed to take things reallt slowly

I’ve had three c sections and one tummy tuck and every time I have started back by 8 weeks but very very slowly and gently, no weights. Increasing I. Small increments, really listening to my body. Chat GPT could build you out a programme and recommend safer exercises. Keep up the protein too!
